Frequently asked questions

What do I need to get started?

The absolute basics are a powder coating gun, an extraction wall and a compact oven. This assumes that you pretreat the parts manually yourself, for example by degreasing them by hand, and that you move them yourself, by rehanging them or using trolleys. The next steps are then a conveyor and a pretreatment system.

How much does a starter line cost?

A manual starter line with a conveyor starts at around 150,000 euros. After an initial meeting, you receive a tailored quotation.

Can the line grow later on?

Yes, the lines can be extended, but you need to plan for the future now. If growth was not considered when the line was designed, expanding later is often expensive. Typical growth steps are automating the conveyor, adding pretreatment or adding an extra booth.

How much space do I need?

That depends heavily on the size of your parts. In length, allow at least 2.5 times the length of your largest part: for 6 m parts, that means 15 m. In width, around 10 m is often enough. Space for logistics is not included.

Will my staff be trained?

Yes. Teaching starters how to powder coat is our job and our passion. We provide theoretical and practical training on gun settings, oven curves, maintenance and working safely.
