VMT was founded in 1946 as a manufacturer of light fittings and grew into a quality supplier to industry. To offer its customers even more flexibility and responsiveness, VMT now powder coats in-house, with a new installation from ESTEE Coating Solutions.

Control over the entire process
VMT has invested heavily in recent years: automated cutting, bending and welding departments, and a new warehouse. Because on the site of the old warehouse now stands the new powder coating installation. With its own coating line, VMT controls virtually the entire production process.

Built around their objectives
The installation was developed entirely around the objectives VMT had set itself. The promised delivery time and guarantees were also met. A few months after start-up, VMT confirms that ESTEE has honoured all its commitments and continues to provide good service after installation.
Everything in-house from day one
The plan was to start with the simplest parts. In practice, VMT coated everything itself from the very first day, without external subcontractors. The coaters are satisfied and the time to delivery has been cut sharply, giving VMT even more flexibility towards its customers.
