From lighting poles and road markings to traffic signs: Trafiroad has been a benchmark in Belgium for years. After almost 40 years of service, the old powder coating installation made way for a new line from ESTEE Coating Solutions, which also had to fit into the existing hall.

Flexibility in a limited space
Trafiroad supplies a very wide range of structures, from local authorities to large contractors. The new line had to increase flexibility and efficiency and fit into a hall with little space. ESTEE thought along and quickly came up with a layout that met every requirement.

From five booths to one
Trafiroad used to work with five powder booths and had to keep a lot of stock. Now everything is done in one automatic booth with automatic colour change. All poles and signs pass through this first part; signs that need a second coat receive it semi-manually further down the line. The parts then move to other production cells for finishing.
