At Maes Coating Service in Turnhout, ESTEE Coating Solutions delivered a new manual powder coating installation. What makes it special: this is where ESTEE introduced its new manual booth with horizontal extraction, which innovates on many points.

Less energy thanks to an optimised extraction pattern

Using 3D simulations, our engineers optimised the extraction pattern across the filter cartridges. The powder spreads more evenly over the filters, so less extraction flow is needed and the fan uses much less energy. ESTEE uses Donaldson Ultraweb filter cartridges as standard, which deliver the best results on the market for filter performance, pressure drop and service life.

Longer service life and service-friendly

The cleaning function of the filter cartridges was also improved, which benefits their operation and service life. Filter cartridges and blow-off valves are easy to reach through dedicated service hatches.

Light and verification

LED panels in the booth roof easily achieve the 750 lux required by European standard EN 16985:2019, which greatly increases the coater’s comfort. At handover, our service technicians measure the airflow across the booth, and the customer receives a certificate.
