NanoCoat (Lüdinghausen): an innovative powder coating line, on the cover of Besser Lackieren

In Lüdinghausen (Germany), ESTEE Coating Solutions built the powder coating line of the new company NanoCoat GmbH. In March 2023 the line made the front page of Besser Lackieren, the leading German trade magazine for powder coating.

Polypropylene in a stainless steel market

The German market has traditionally focused on stainless steel pretreatment. ESTEE’s Step&Go pretreatment tunnel is made of polypropylene. Its chemical inertness, low thermal conductivity and low surface tension significantly reduce energy, water and chemical consumption, while the tunnel stays flexible for aluminium, stainless steel, steel and zinc.

Hybrid ovens and UNICoater

The hybrid ovens switch between 100% electric and 100% gas, and recover energy. The UNICoater automation platform gives full transparency on the quality, efficiency and cost of the line, also remotely. The coater can, for example, see the coating instructions for each workpiece on the screen in the booth.

Operational within six months

Thanks to the collaboration with EBS Licher Oberflächentechnik, Railtechniek van Herwijnen and DOK-Chemie, the line was running six months after construction started. NanoCoat is also one of our featured references.
