INFRARED OVENS
Avoid colour infections in your ovens.
An infrared oven has the advantage that typically only the product itself is heated, and that the oven is compact compared to a convection oven. Disadvantages, however, are that cavities in products are not reached, and that an infrared oven only works effectively with radiation-absorbing coatings.
Therefore, an infrared oven is often placed in front of a convection curing oven to avoid colour contamination caused by powder blown from one product to another.
