Single pretreatment tunnel (spt+)
The SPT+ is the premium single chamber pretreatment tunnel within the ESTEE range. In this case, the beam is brought into the tunnel manually and the nozzles make an oscillating movement over the workpiece.
The SPT+ combines multiple (2 to 4) chemical treatments in one tunnel section, using our unique fluid distribution system. Due to this system and the fact that the tunnel and baths are constructed solely of polypropylene, minimal contamination of liquids is obtained. Due to the insulating properties of polypropylene (in combination with the selective use of rock wool) and the use of a high-efficiency central heating circuit, energy consumption is reduced to a minimum. In addition, special attention has been paid to the operator’s ease of use and the serviceability of the installation.

Polypropylene internal construction

- 85 times better insulator than stainless steel:
- thermal conductivity stainless steel: 17 W/mK
- heat conductivity polypropylene: 0.2 W/mK
- Minimum contamination between liquids thanks to low surface tension: droplets remain minimally ‘sticky’
- Piping made of polypropylene does not become brittle after a few years, unlike PVC
- Easy to clean: retains ‘look & feel’ even after years of intensive production
